Instituted 30 January 1934 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1934 1937 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms, bearing a central Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross DRK) style German national eagle executed in multi coloured enamels with gilt highlights, the twelve oclock arm topped by a
